Low premiums for responsible young drivers

It was reported that more than 20% of young motorists who crash within a year of passing their test.That was a big number right?It is equal 100 young drivers who drive a car,more than 20 of them met an accident.

Director of AA Insurance,Simon Douglas, said car insurance companies should reward young motorists who drive carefully.They are doing the right thing being a young drivers,and they must had something as appreciation.At the same time,perhaps other young drivers can actually doing the same thing to get a clean car driving record.

This is what AA Insurance Director said:

“I believe the industry must work together to find a formula that recognises those who are able to demonstrate they take a responsible approach to driving,” Douglas said yesterday, speaking at a conference hosted by the Association of British Insurers.

It is normal and acceptable that young drivers face higher premiums because they’re more likely to cause an accident.In fact,a research done by AA Insurance concluded inexperienced drivers had tendency ten times more likely to be involved in a serious collision than their experienced counterparts.
However, those studies doesn’t mean that every young drivers were reckless while driving.There are some really a safe drivers.Simply put,good, safe drivers should be rewarded. The insurance industry no doubt can afford to provide incentives which also encourage responsible driving.It’s a win-win situation both for car insurer companies and drivers.
